Social media templates

project summary

The problem: The company’s social media graphics needed some updating. But there was also and issue with the most of the graphics being needed by so many different teams within the company. These teams do not all have their own designers, nor do they have working knowledge with Adobe’s design software.

The solution: I built out the designs using Photoshop & Illustrator, and once the concepts were approved, I would move forward by building out a templated version in Canva. This gave us all the design capabilities of the adobe software, and control over what elements would be editable, and what elements would be locked. Canva also provided us the capability to share out the designs to individual teams to where they could do their own editing (of just the copy) on them (and provided us control over what they could and couldn’t edit). We could also maintain a bank of master files just in case a templated version gets edited beyond repair after being handed off.

This process was carried out for the following graphics:

  • Welcome to the Team Announcement

  • I’ve Joined Announcement

  • Employee Work Anniversary Announcement

  • Upcoming Recruiting Events Announcement
