Project Overview
I was tasked with creating a series of website and social media videos designed to help our clients clearly communicate their services to prospective customers. The goal was to produce professional, engaging explainer-style videos that could be distributed across multiple platforms.
The Challenge
The traditional video production process—scriptwriting, voiceover recording, filming, editing, compliance revisions, and re-recording—was not feasible within our limited timeline and budget. Additionally, because scripts required compliance review, even minor wording changes would normally mean rebooking voice talent and re-recording audio, significantly increasing both cost and turnaround time.
The Solution
To streamline production, we reimagined the workflow:
Our CMO drafted the scripts internally to accelerate the writing process.
I used ElevenLabs (AI voiceover technology) to generate high-quality narration.
Because the voiceover was AI-generated, script revisions could be implemented instantly without rescheduling or additional costs.
I storyboarded each video to identify the required stock footage, animations, and visual transitions.
I sourced licensed music tracks to enhance tone and pacing.
Finally, I edited and assembled the videos into polished, client-ready deliverables optimized for both web and social platforms.
The Impact
This approach dramatically reduced production time and costs while maintaining a professional standard of quality. It also introduced a scalable workflow that made future revisions and additional videos significantly more efficient.
What I Learned
This project was a rewarding problem-solving experience. It pushed me to explore emerging AI tools, rethink traditional production constraints, and develop a more agile content creation process—skills I continue to apply in future projects.
