Job fair event print support
Project summary
Job Fair events were getting ready to be in full swing at numerous colleges. The Director of Talent Acquisition reached out for some print collateral for these event. There were four pieces in total:
A Retracable Banner
A 2-Sided Fact Sheet (There was a previous version to work off of for this one, so it was mostly just cleaning up the layout and updating the award disclaimers)
A Rack Card to hand out to Graduates
A Rack Card to hand out to Interns
what I learned
There really was no review process in place for multi-piece event support like this. All of the designs were given their own Microsoft Teams discussion channels where feedback would trickle in inconsistently. We also ran very tight to the deadline, so printing and shipping was done in a bit of a rush. Bonus learning: Fed Ex Office still can not print to the bleed.
After this project was completed, I began putting together a refined proccess for multi-piece collateral support events like this one. Timelines were also factored in. Essentially the process would be boiled down to:
A Discovery Call including requesting and execution parties
Copyrighting/Compliance Ideation
Review Call #1 (2-3 Concepts Presented. Requesting and Execution parties review all the pieces at once. One direction chosen to move forward with)
Review Call #2 (Requesting and Execution parties review all the finalized-direction pieces at once. Make any final changes. Live edits if necessary.)
