project summary

Problem:

All the footage for these videos had already been shot, but the needed someone to:

• Edit the shots together

• Apply a series intro and outro

• Apply lower thirds for the video subjects

The direction was mostly that these were destined to live on LinkedIn, and to be quick and to the point (inside a minute).

Solution:

• Using After Effects I animated the intro logo and background. Also animated the outro in AE.

• I animated the company logo, and used different parts of it throughout other elements in the video

• I animated the lower third with a touch of the logo animation and comped it out so it could quickly be done for future versions

• I exported those animated elements as transparent MOV files to lay over the main timeline in Premiere

• Edited the main story line together in Premiere and tossed on my animation files

• Mixed in a soundtrack to tie it all together (I offered to lay over subtitles, but that was deemed unnecessary)
