2025 Brand Alignment & Visual Refresh
Project Overview
Over the course of a year, I led a comprehensive brand alignment initiative to bring Moneta’s marketing materials in line with the updated look and feel of the company website. When I joined in 2024, there was a clear disconnect between the website’s modern, polished design system and the visual identity reflected across client-facing materials.
The Challenge
While the website established a strong visual direction, many supporting assets—presentation templates, collateral, and recurring content pieces—still reflected an older brand aesthetic. In addition, frequent copy revisions and compliance-driven disclaimer updates made it difficult to maintain consistency without slowing down production.
The Solution
I began by conducting a full audit of existing materials and identifying opportunities for visual alignment. From there, I:
Redesigned and standardized key templates to reflect the website’s typography, color palette, spacing, and layout structure.
Created new branded content aligned with the refreshed aesthetic.
Developed a simple, updated brand guide that clarified typography usage, color hierarchy, branding elements, and visual examples—establishing a stronger foundation for consistency moving forward.
To improve efficiency and scalability, I implemented a hybrid design workflow:
I built complex, high-fidelity graphics and layouts in Photoshop to ensure strong brand control and visual polish.
I then imported those designs into Canva templates, locking key structural and brand elements.
I intentionally left text fields and disclaimer sections editable, allowing marketing and compliance teams to quickly update messaging without compromising the design.
This system significantly streamlined the feedback process. Teams could make necessary adjustments—especially frequent disclaimer updates—without restarting layouts or routing every change back through design.
The Impact
The result was a cohesive and modernized brand presence across digital and print touchpoints, along with a more agile and collaborative production system. Brand consistency improved, turnaround times decreased, and internal teams were empowered to work more efficiently while maintaining visual integrity.
What I Learned
This project reinforced that successful branding is both visual and operational. By establishing a clear brand foundation and building scalable design systems, I was able to protect brand consistency while enabling flexibility and speed across teams.
